Lyda Morehouse

AngeLINK as a series

I've finished all four books in the AngeLINK series by Lyda Morehouse, and I have a few thoughts on the series as a whole.

1). I think the first books was originally intended as a stand alone. While it's great at establishing the universe, and introducing most of the characters, it doesn't tie in as strongly to the overall arc of the series as the other three books. That said, the series could not really stand without it, and it is a fantastic book.

More on Lyda Morehouse's AngeLINK Series

I didn't post yesterday because I got so wrapped up in reading Fallen Host and Messiah Node, the sequels to Lyda Morehouse's Archangel Protocol. All I can say is, damn, these are good books. I can also see why Katherine is so fond of Mouse, though personally, I think my favorite character is probably Page, with Mouse and Dragon running a very close second and third.

Archangel Protocol

The Archangel Protocol by Lyda Morehouse.

Katherine's been after me to read this for a while, and I've been putting her off because I've been extremely busy. Between working on rewrites, and teaching classes this summer, trying to take time out to do some recreational reading has been pretty low on the list.

I gotta say, I wish I hadn't put it off so long. I normally don't like cyberpunk, but this this was actually very cool.
