I just finished Chapter Five. While this should be a good, I've got decidedly mixed feelings. I'm worried that there's to much exposition going on in and around the battle, and there's a scene in Chapter Four that I've written something like twelve different times that just never seems to come out the way I want it.

*sigh*

I know I can write. I know I'm actually pretty good. For some reason though, I just feel like I can't get with the program when it comes to this novel.

Maybe it will pick up once I've actually gotten a little further in and I can come back and fix the first few chapters. Or maybe I'm just being to critical of myself. Ugh.

*Bangs head on wall*
