I didn't post yesterday because I got so wrapped up in reading Fallen Host and Messiah Node, the sequels to Lyda Morehouse's Archangel Protocol. All I can say is, damn, these are good books. I can also see why Katherine is so fond of Mouse, though personally, I think my favorite character is probably Page, with Mouse and Dragon running a very close second and third.

What I don't understand, at all, is why these books didn't take off, because they're flipping fantastic. Considering I normally don't like cyberpunk at all, to the point where I've never been able to get through a full read of Neuromancer, or When Gravity Fails, or any of the other classic cyberpunk books, that's saying something.

I'm reading Apocalypse Array right now, which is the last of the four books that were published before Roc pulled the plug on the series.
