The idea here is to post the first line of five works in progress. I'm kind of fudging a bit.

President Charles King was a man with problems. - Homefront. I'm counting as a WIP because it's undergoing a massive trim for length.

I tend to work out naked. - Meredith MacKenzie and the Uruk Empire. It doesn't go out to the agent until Monday, so it counts.

"Look, Roy, I'm telling you-" - We're Here To Help. Anyone who's read 'The Girl With the Killer Eyes' will recognize this line. That's because 'Girl' is going to be the first chapter of We're Here To Help, which is my next project as soon as I get Meredith submitted to potential agent number one.

When I was a vice cop, I had five rules. - Slightly Broken (Working Title). I'm outlining this and planning on writing the first draft during NaNoWriMo this November, which should give me time to get We're Here To Help through at least a first draft.

"You want to tell me what happened?" - What Rough Beast. I've got no idea when I'll actually get around to writing this book. Right now, it's number three on the list, behind We're Here To Help and Slightly Broken. Of course, it's been pushed back before, and it might be again. I don't think the idea is done stewing yet.
