Okay, I feel a bit better about chapter four. I rewrote most of the second and third scenes. I'm still not entirely happy with scene three, but I suspect that's more because I always find it a little hard to introduce characters, especially important ones. I think I'm going to hold off on any more revisions until after I get done with at least a few more significant scenes with that particular character. Maybe that way I'll have a bit more of a feel for her.

I still really like Chapter 5, but part of me wonders about it too. I'm wondering if maybe I should go ahead and introduce several characters now that I was planning on saving for later.

Or maybe I'm just obsessing.

Either way, I feel better about what I've got done than I did a few hours ago, even if I did end up cutting a few hundred words.
